Recently I’ve become enamored of the Library of Congress’s website. The sheer amount of Stuff™ they have online is mind-boggling. They’ve recently started a new podcast called “America Works”. Each ten-minute episode features an interview with an ordinary American, who talks about their job, why they do what they do, and how they meet challenges along the way. It’s fascinating! The first episode features an interview with the owner of a traveling circus. (Did you know that the US military studied the Barnum & Bailey Circus during its traveling days to learn about logistics?) It’s well worth a listen.
